However, the project's blog noted that development resumed in May 2009 and some updates to the code were added in 2016. The I386 folder is where your old Windows OS files are maybe residing, Imo, as a Backup/copy. I don't think you have any Old IL2 stuff here, or any more data. Most of the folders are having the attribute HS, so this means these are Hidden System files. It looks like most of the space on your old HD has been taken by Windows System files only, mostly *.chk.
